I arrived on Wednesday night, (Yay, no work Thursday and Friday) and am here until Monday (tonight) night. I have a evening flight back to the Bay where I've heard the weather has been toasty. It's been toasty here too! We've taken Colin to numerous fountains in the area. Portland is nice, they are so many public areas that are family oriented and free. Lots of parks and fountians that are meant to play in. Colin had a blast playing in the water. He seemed to enjoy splashing around and watching the other children.
Colin has an obsession with THOMAS the tank engine. He got mostly Thomas stuff for his big day. You can almost lure him to do anything by saying that Thomas will be involved. Colin can't say Thomas all the way yet, it sorta comes out like Tossy. There is speculation that he is saying Thomas and Percy (another train character) together and it comes out Thossy.
Colin racked in the Thomas loot for his birthday. He is two now. Watch out mom and dad!
