Birthday Countdown

Officially 2 more full days until my Birthday!

It is exciting to have my birthday fall on a Saturday this year.

So far the day will consist of a Baseball game, going out to dinner with Sam and my parents, stopping at Katie O'Grady's going away party later that evening.

Yesterday in the mail, I got a package. I love packages. Tara sent me a bunch of knitting needles, and two awesome books to aid in my quest to teach myself to knit. THANK YOU SO MUCH TARA! YOU ARE THE BEST! I cannot wait to get going, I just need to go to a yarn store to see selection and stuff. I need to buy some standard yarn, that is easy for me, just a beginner. The stuff I originally bought is for someone who actually knows what they are doing.

Maybe I can convince Sam to stop at one of SF's yarn stores on Saturday before the game, I'll work on that.

I'd still like to get together with people for my birthday, like throwing a BBQ, but I am so broke it just doesn't seem likely right now. Any suggestions of a cheap birthday celebration?

There is actually a "decent" (read: okay, but not my first choice) yarn store in South San Francisco. I think it's on West Orange. I'll have to look it up; I really can't recall the name.
