Okay the update.

So as I said earlier, I had fallen off the face of the earth....but alas, I've returned.

Lets see, work has been...well...what can I say? Lets just say it varies. Mostly between hating it and loving it. It really has nothing to do with what I was hired to do, but more of what they want me to do now. Stressful is a good word to describe work these days. I feel like I am on a rollercoaster ride. Some days it is great, with a light at the end of the tunnel, and other days, its like the light has been burnt out forever and they don't make the bulb you need any longer and there are no ways to convert the socket and all of the stores that sell other light fixtures, flashlights, etc are closed, indefinately.

Today was a light at the end of the tunnel day. That was good.

On Saturday, (9/24/05) we celebrated Jennifer and Jay's recent wedding in OK with a reception in California for all of the people who couldn't get out there for the wedding. What a fun time, it was great.

My parent's had quite a few people crashing at their house for this event. It was awesome. They opened the tent-trailer and two people slept in it, Jay and Jennifer took the guest room aka The Beach Bungalo aka Amy's old room. There was also an aero-bed set up in the living room. It was like a squatter camp. It did really help to have everyone there, there were so many people who could help out with getting things ready.

The party turned out perfect. The food was good, the decorations were great. There were tons of pictures & picture books to look at and a DVD to watch. Thank you Shutterfly.com.

Jaik, Jay's best man, (who really spells his name Jake, but once before spelled it Jaik, to be different- I like it better as Jaik) played a funny song he wrote for Jennifer and Jay with his guitar. It was so funny. I hope to acquire the words and post them here soon.

Like I said, as soon as I get photos back/uploaded...(from Shutterfly and Sam's digital---hint hint Sam--if you are reading this...tee hee) I will post some of them.

Sunday was fun too, I mostly slept in, I was really tired. Sam and I started watching Encino Man with Brendan Fraiser, Pauly Shore and Sean Astin. I really love that movie.

We had to stop the movie in the middle so Sam and I could watch the football game, with our football watching gear on. I was sporting my new 49er beanie hat and Sam sported his jersey and his hat. Honestly, I have no idea who won. What a dork I am.

Anyway, we watched the rest of Encino man and then moved onto some old BBC episodes of the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, from 1981. We watched a few 30 minute episodes. They were cool. Very different from the newly released version, but very accurate to the book. We still have episodes to watch, hopefully we will get to do so soon.

(I was informed tonight that this is a very important week for Baseball - especially for the Giants - basically they need to win each game this week - so chances of watching anything else in the presence of Sam is highly unlikely. Unless...unless it was Night Court. Then I think there might be a slight hesitation. =). He knows I am kidding. =)

I am excited for the new season of the Desperate Housewives. I'm hoping I'll be able to get in the new episode. ( I think the first one aired on Sunday night)--I could be wrong though.

So today was a pretty much normal Monday. I basically went to work and trained most of the day to learn someone else's job which is the job that I am supposed to be doing in addition to my own job, without any extra compensation. Life is fun ain't it? Well just have to see about thatn now won't we?

Well I guess at this point I don't have too much else to say. Tuesday is coming soon, I hope it it a good one.

Birthday countdown...4 more full days. Age 27 here I come.
